Meditation and Dharma Services

Sunday Dharma Service | 10:00 am – 11:30 am: Every Sunday, our local community gathers for a regular service, sometimes with our visiting retreat guests. Each service features yoga/chi-gong stretching, silent sitting (around 25 min), chanting, prayer, and a dharma talk to foster a calm and peaceful mind.

Wednesday Evening Meditation | 7:00 – 8:20 PM
Join us every Wednesday evening as we settle into the quiet, yin energy of the night through various forms of meditation — including chi-gong, chanting, and silent sitting. Closing the day with meditation supports a gentle transition into rest, with calm and clarity.

Daily Morning Meditation | 5:30 – 6:40 AM
Every morning, we begin our day in the Dharma Hall, taking in the spectacular view of the Catskill Mountains. Our morning meditation consists primarily of silent sitting (45 minutes), followed by a short session of sutra chanting, and concludes with the morning prayer song. Starting your day with meditation helps set the tone for mindfulness and clarity.
